    LOU, The French on the Block is one of most extraordinary pastry and coffee spots one could discover. Tiny on space and giant on friendly, this shop offers the kind of french pastry that you can only dream of... The almond croissant is jaw dropping delicious.. I've never tasted anything as decadent as that in the U.S. Classic croissants and truly every choice of scrumptious flaky pastry is off the charts. Owner and staff couldn't be sweeter...and on Sundays they have a booth at the Studio City Farmers Market - never miss it. Needless to say... perfection...
